A 16-year-old Dittmer girl was moderately injured in a crash on Hwy. Y north of Rousan Road northwest of Ware on Sunday, Jan. 14, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7:40 p.m., the teen was driving a southbound 2010 Ford Focus when she allegedly failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck multiple trees, the report said.
The 16-year-old was taken by Valle Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
According to the report, the teen was wearing a seat belt, and the vehicle was totaled.
Because she is a juvenile, the patrol did not release her name.
