Deena L. Truka, 54, of Imperial was injured Thursday morning, Aug. 10, in a one-vehicle accident on East Swaller Road south of Carol Drive west of Arnold, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
Truka was driving a northbound 1994 Chevrolet S10 and ran off the left side of the road, where the pickup struck a small tree and a utility pole, the report said.
She was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was listed in satisfactory condition Friday afternoon, Aug. 11.
Truka was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was extensively damaged, the report said.
