Dawn L. Kenuam, 54, of De Soto was injured in an UTV accident Sunday afternoon (May 2) on Hwy. Y near Stonehouse Road southwest of Hillsboro, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
The accident happened at about 3:10 p.m., when Kenuam was riding a 2016 Polaris 900 west on the highway and the tire came off the UTV, which then ran off the right side of the road and overturned, the report said.
Kenuam was moderately injured and transported by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Kenuam was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The Polaris was moderately damaged, the patrol reported.
