Clarence E. Woelich, 49, of De Soto was injured Friday afternoon (April 9) in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 67 south of Meyer Road north of Olympian Village, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 12:06 p.m., Woelich was driving a 1999 Jeep Wrangler north on the highway and ran off the right side of the road, where the vehicle struck a large rock and overturned, ejecting him, the report said.
He was moderately injured and taken by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County.
Woelich was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The Jeep was totaled, the report said.
