Chrstin Pinkley, 38, of De Soto was killed Monday evening (Aug. 19) in a motorcycle accident on Hwy. 47 at Old Cadet Road west of Bonne Terre in St. Francois County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 9:41 p.m., Pinkley was riding a 2008 Honda CBR1000 motorcycle west on Hwy. 47 when he failed to negotiate a turn and rode off the right side of the road, where he struck a sign. Pinkley then was thrown off the motorcycle, the report said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:52 p.m. by emergency personnel, according to the report.
The motorcycle was totaled, the report said.
