A De Soto woman and man were injured May 1 in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 67 north of Cash Lane near St. Francois State Park in St. Francois County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At about 9:50 a.m., Louise K. Greenlee, 80, was driving a northbound 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, and the van ran off the right side of the highway and struck a guardrail, the report said.

She and a passenger in the van – Lawrence D. Greenlee, 68 – were moderately injured and taken by St. Francois County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, according to the report.

Louise Greenlee was treated and released, and Lawrence Greenlee was transferred to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where he was listed in satisfactory condition on Wednesday, May 4, a Mercy spokesman said.

They were not wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.

The van was totaled, the report said.
