A Cedar Hill man and a St. Louis woman were injured Friday evening, Oct. 11, in a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. FF and Sunrise Drive in the Jefferson County portion of Eureka, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 5 p.m., Mark R. Chaudoin, 62, of Cedar Hill was driving a 2019 Ram 1500 south on the highway and reportedly crossed the center line, and the front of the pickup struck the front of a northbound 2005 Ford F350 driven by Kelsey A. Morris, 27, of St. Louis. Then, the Ford F350 caught fire, the report said.
Chaudoin was seriously injured, and Morris was moderately injured, and both were transported by the Eureka Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, according to the report.
The two drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
Both vehicles were totaled, the report said.
