A 34-year-old Cedar Hill woman was injured Monday morning (Sept. 10) when the Jeep she was driving on Hwy. 30 west of Little Brennan Road in High Ridge was hit from behind, causing a three-vehicle accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At about 7:25 a.m., Amanda L. Sheerin of Cedar Hill was driving a 2017 Jeep Wrangler east on Hwy. 30 and slowed for congested traffic, but Kenneth B. Marschuetz, 52, of Hillsboro, driving an eastbound 2011 Ford F350, failed to notice the vehicles slowing ahead, and the front of the pickup struck the rear of the Jeep, the patrol reported.
After that collision, the Jeep was pushed into the vehicle in front of it – an eastbound 2004 Honda Odyssey driven by Carine L. Zrodlowski, 44, of Byrnes Mills, according to the report.
No injuries were reported for Marschuetz and Zrodlowski.
Sheerin, however, was moderately injured and transported by North Jefferson County Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where she was listed in satisfactory condition, a hospital spokesman said Tuesday (Sept. 11).
All three drivers were wearing seat belts, the report said.
The three vehicles were moderately damaged, according to the report.
