A Cedar Hill woman and a Byrnes Mill man were injured Sunday evening (July 19) in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 30 at Gravois Road in unincorporated Fenton, the Missouri state Highway Patrol reported.

At 5:10 p.m., Mindy M. Seyer, 38, of Cedar Hill was driving a 2006 Dodge Durango west on Hwy. 30 and struck the rear of a westbound 1999 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Trent A. Matheis, 17, of Byrnes Mill, who had slowed for a red light ahead, the report said.

Seyer was seriously hurt and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where she was listed in satisfactory condition this afternoon (July 22), a hospital spokeswoman said.

Matheis had minor injuries and was taken by private conveyance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, the spokeswoman said.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.

The two vehicles were totaled, the report said.
