A 19-year-old Catawissa teenager is in serious condition following a crash on Hwy. W in Warren County northwest of Warrenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:53 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, Kayden T. Boyd was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu south just north of Leo Lane when he allegedly failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle crossed the center line, traveled off the right side of the road, struck a tree and overturned, ejecting him from the vehicle, the report said.
Boyd and a passenger, Camren W. Love, 21, of Warrenton, were seriously injured and taken by Arch Helicopter to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Cour, the report said.
According to a hospital spokeswoman, as of Tuesday evening, Love was in critical condition and Boyd was in serious condition.
It is not known if Boyd was wearing a seat belt, the report said, and Love was not wearing a seat belt.
The vehicle was totaled, the report said.
