A Bonne Terre woman was injured Sunday, July 24, in a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. 67 and Flucom Road southwest of Olympian Village, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6 p.m., Renee N. Rankin, 38, of Bonne Terre was driving a 2020 Jeep Renegade north on the highway and an unidentified driver in a White Ford Ranger who was turning left from Flucom Road onto the highway pulled into the path of the Renegade. The front of the Renegade struck the Ranger, and the person driving the Ranger drove it from the scene, the report said.
Rankin was moderately injured and taken by Valle Mines Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, according to the report.
However, the hospital had no information about her, a Mercy spokesperson said.
Rankin was wearing a seat belt, and the Renegade was extensively damaged, the report said.
