A Barnhart man and woman were hurt Friday morning (March 29) in a two-car accident on Gravois Bluffs Boulevard at Hwy. 141 in Fenton in St. Louis County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 10:30 a.m., David W. Ruegge, 66, of Barnhart was driving a northbound 2003 Ford Mustang and allegedly failed to yield to a northbound 2007 Ford Mustang, and the front of the 2003 Mustang struck the rear of the other one, the report said.
Donald Hamilton, 65, of House Springs was driving the 2007 Mustang. No injuries were reported for him.
However, Ruegge was moderately hurt, and a passenger in the 2003 Mustang – Linda K. Ruegge, 62, of Barnhart – had minor injuries, and they both were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south Louis County, the report said.
No information about their conditions was available today (March 30).
Both the Ruegges and Hamilton were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The two cars had minor damage, the report said.
