An Arnold woman and man were injured Monday night, Feb. 27, in a traffic accident on Hwy. 94 near Hwy. V in St. Charles County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:50 p.m., Marissa M. Mundwiller, 24, of Arnold was driving a 2016 Kia Sorento west on Hwy. 94 where an unknown eastbound vehicle crossed the center line, and when Mundwiller swerved to avoid the other vehicle, the Sorento ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree, the report said.
Mundwiller and a passenger in the Sorento – David L. Willyard, 32, of Arnold – were moderately injured and taken by ambulance to SSM Health DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, according to the report.
Both Mundwiller and Willyard were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Sorento was extensively damaged, the report said.
