Ashley S. Georger, 28, of Arnold was injured Tuesday, Sept. 20, in a three-vehicle accident on I-55 south of Reavis Barracks Road in St. Louis County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7:38 a.m., Georger was driving a 2019 Dodge Journey north on the interstate and struck the rear of a northbound 2012 Nissan Pathfinder driven by an Imperial teenager who had slowed for traffic ahead. Then, the Pathfinder was pushed into a northbound 2022 GMC Terrain driven by Abby L. Zoia, 44, of St. Louis who also had also slowed, the report said.
Georger was moderately injured and taken by Mehlville Fire Protection to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesperson said.
According to the report, Georger, Zoia and the teen were wearing seat belts.
The Pathfinder and Terrain had minor damage, and the Journey was extensively damaged.
The patrol did not release the teen’s name because she is a juvenile.
