Justin W. Litton, 32, of Arnold was hurt early this morning (Sept. 4) when two motorcycles collided on I-70 just east of the Blanchette Bridge in St. Louis County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 1:05 a.m., Litton was riding a 2004 Honda RR east on I-70 and was attempting to change lanes to the right as another eastbound motorcycle was trying to overtake him, the report said.
The other bike, a 2015 Yamaha R1, sideswiped the Honda, and both riders were ejected from the bikes, according to the report.
The person riding the Yamaha appeared to be injured but fled the scene and was not identified, the report said.
Litton was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, according to the report.
However, the hospital had no information about him, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The Yamaha was extensively damaged, and the Honda sustained moderate damage, the report said.
