Timothy R. Pind, 27, of Arnold was hurt Tuesday night (July 23) in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 141 at Old Missouri State Road in Arnold, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:08 p.m., Pind was driving a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee south on Hwy. 141 and allegedly failed to stop at a red light at Missouri State Road, and the Jeep was struck by a 1996 Chevrolet CK-1500 driven by Meghan C. Kamon, 43, of Fenton, who was headed east on Old Missouri State Road and attempting to turn left onto northbound Hwy. 141. After the collision, the Jeep overturned and ran off the left side of the road, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Kamon.
However, Pind was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Jeep was extensively damaged, and the truck was moderately damaged, the report said.
