An Arnold man and a Hazelwood man were injured in a crash on Tuesday, Sept. 17, on Hwy. 141 at Schneider Drive in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 10:12 a.m., Michael J. Mullen, 58, of Arnold was driving a northbound 2018 Lexus RX 350 when he reportedly failed to stop for a red light and struck the left side of a 2019 Ford Flex, driven by James A. Owens, 71, that was turning onto Hwy. 141, the report said.
Both drivers were moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
According to a hospital spokesman, as of Wednesday, Sept. 18, Owens was in satisfactory condition, and Mullen had been treated and released.
According to the report, both drivers were wearing seat belts, and the vehicles were extensively damaged.
