Alexandra M. Simmons, 21, of High Ridge was injured Friday morning, March 15, in a one-car accident at Calvey Creek Road and Township Drive in Dittmer, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 11:50 a.m., Simmons was driving a southbound 2003 Volvo S80 when she suffered a medical emergency and ran off the left side of the road, where the bottom of the car struck a ditch, the report said.
She was moderately injured and taken by Big River Ambulance to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, according to the report.
Simmons was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car sustained minor damage, the report said.
