Patricia A. “Patty” Dierks, 61, of De Soto died April 1, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Dierks had worked at Quonset Lanes in Crystal City and the Mobil gasoline station and convenience store in De Soto. She was a member of First Baptist Church of De Soto. Born Sept. 13, 1961, in Farmington, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Mabel L. (Graham) Spiker. She was preceded in death by her husband: Francis R. “Frank” Dierks.
She is survived by a daughter: Loretta Lynn (Bryan Douglas) Dierks of St. Louis; a son-in-law: Brad (Jessica) Gibbs; two brothers: John (Tonya) Spiker and Don Spiker, both of De Soto; two half brothers: Christopher Spiker of St. Louis and Gerald Spiker of St. Louis; and three grandchildren: Brett Gibbs, Baileigh Gibbs and Grace Gibbs, all of De Soto.
She was preceded in death by a half brother: Robert “Buddy” Spiker.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N Main, in De Soto. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
