Karen Studyvin of Barnhart said this photo captures the special relationship between her granddaughter, Aubrey, 1, and Tucker.
Tucker, 2, is a golden Labrador. He and Aubrey live in Bradenton, Fla., where the photo was taken.
“The picture was taken about a year ago at their house,” she said. “Tucker is my son’s dog. From the time she came home from the hospital, Tucker has been at her side.”
Tucker looks out for Aubrey.
“Tucker is very loving,” Studyvin said. “He’s very playful and protective. He’s a very good companion for my granddaughter.”
