Melissa Buss of Festus says her 4-month-old rescue puppy, Sadie, “is a total love bug.”
“She likes to cuddle and play,” Buss said. “She likes to play ball and she likes to lie on my leg in the evening. She likes to play with the cat, Zoie, but the cat doesn’t like to play with her.”
Sadie is an 18-pound Lab-terrier mix who loves to go for walks and car rides.
“She’s the sweetest thing,” she said. “She’s a smart dog.”
Buss said Sadie has a nickname within the family.
“Her nickname is ‘Wiggle-butt,’ because when she walks to greet you her whole back end wig-gles,” she said.
