Riley has loads of get up and go and displays it when he knows it’s time to go outside, said owner Cindy Maulhardt of Imperial.
“We call him ‘Run Around Riley’ because before he goes out he has to run around the table in the house,” Maulhardt said. “We have an indoor patio and he also runs around the table out there before he goes outside. He’s got a lot of energy.”
Riley, 6 years old, is a German shepherd mix, Maulhardt said. She took the photo of him in December 2024.
“I like this picture because of the look on his face and he way he posed,” she said.
She said he is well-behaved.
“He’s very good and he listens very well,” she said. “He likes to give kisses.”
Riley gets along with the family’s other pets.
“We have two other dogs he likes to play with,” Maulhardt said.
