Polly, a 3-year-old cat, lives a carefree life, said owner Eric Allen of Festus.
“She is a very fancy, laid-back kitty that loves to sit on air vents,” he said. “She has no cares in the world. She’s very happy and playful.”
Allen said he spotted Polly in a social media posting from a friend and decided he liked her out of the litter.
“A friend from high school had posted a picture of the whole litter,” he recalled. “I knew I wanted her.”
Polly coexists well with another of Allen’s pets, he said.
“She has a 14-year-old brother cat,” he said. “They get along wonderfully.”
