Simon the shih tzu brings joy to the home of Donna Hartmann, she said.
Hartmann of High Ridge said she obtained Simon, age 6, from an animal rescue organization.
“He is just a lively, little, fun guy,” she said. “He loves life. He’s a little dynamo.”
He often can be found gnawing on a toy bone.
“He’s got little Nylabones he loves to chew on,” Hartmann said.
Simon has a friendly personality, she said.
“He loves everybody,” she said. “We’ve got another dog, Cooper, who’s a shih tzu mix. They do everything together.”
Hartmann said she is a fan of the shih tzu breed.
“They’re good companions,” she said. “They’re very lovable.”
