Penny, a 7-year-old tabby cat, has a contented disposition, said owner Charli Berry of De Soto.
“She is a happy cat,” Berry said. “She loves to play. She’s more like a dog. She likes to play fetch.”
Berry has had Penny since she was a kitten and Berry was still a student at Missouri State University in Springfield.
“The photo was taken when she was on our couch,” she said. “She was a kitten, maybe a couple months old.”
Penny is comfortable around humans and prefers to dine like humans, Berry said.
“She likes people,” she said. “She likes to eat people food rather than cat food.”
