Patricia Rimkus of rural De Soto took this photo of Daisy in the spring of 2017 while she was taking care of the golden retriever for her son and daughter-in-law, Alden and Melinda Scheetz of Dardenne Prairie. Daisy is 3.
“We babysit the dog whenever they go out of town for any length of time,” Rimkus said. “We send them a picture every day of what she’s doing.”
Daisy doesn’t know how powerful she is, Rimkus said.
“She’s a big thing. She doesn’t realize how strong she is,” Rimkus said. “You don’t take her for a walk; she takes you.”
The dog has a great personality, Rimkus added.
“Daisy is a big play baby. She likes people. She likes other dogs. She’s into everything.”
