“He was a free spirit,” he said. “You never knew what he was going to do. He’d let some people pet him, then he’d haul off and bite them.”
Fricke said he took the photo in 2003 when Mighty Mouse, a dachshund, was 5.
“This dog was special to me because he rode in the dump truck all the time,” he said. “Everybody knew Mighty Mouse. He was a fun pet.”
Sadly, Mighty Mouse one day decided to go off on his own.
“I had him about eight or nine years,” Fricke said. “Then, he just took off.”
