Susan Daiber of Cedar Hill said she hopes her dog, Little Bit, finds a new hobby soon.
“She likes to rip up furniture, and she likes to rip out the box springs in a bed,” Daiber said. “We’re waiting for her to outgrow that.”
Little Bit, also called Bitty, is 13 months old and a mix of Lab, pit bull, Rottweiler, Akita and boxer. She weighs 90 pounds, Daiber said.
Bitty and Daiber’s other dogs – Gene, a hound mix, and Pinchy, a Chihuahua – are buddies.
“She plays with our other dogs,” Daiber said.
Daiber said she got Bitty unexpectedly, taking her in after her former owners no longer could keep her.
“We enjoy her,” Daiber said. “We weren’t looking for another dog. I guess it was meant to be.”
