Melissa Buss of Festus said her family’s cat, Zoie, and dog, Sadie, sometimes get along.
“Yes and no,” Buss said. “It depends on who is in whose area. They don’t like if the other one intrudes on its area.”
Zoie, 13, is a Russian blue cat, and Sadie, 4, is a Lab mix, and both love their humans.
“They’re very loving,” Buss said. “They’re sweet as can be. If you have a blanket on your lap, Zoie is all yours and sits in your lap. Sadie is also very loving.”
Sadie, the younger pet, is more active.
“Sadie likes to play,” Buss said. “She runs through the house. Zoie will just sit there and watch her.”
Zoie and Sadie are valued members of the family, Buss said.
“They’re good family pets,” she said.
