Emmy, a 6-year-old Australian shepherd, does not need cajoling to go outside in the winter.
“She loves the snow,” said owner Kathy Hinkson of Eureka. “She loves to walk and play in the snow.”
The photo was taken in December 2017 at her parents’ home in Eureka.
Emmy is active during all seasons of the year, Hinkson said.
“She’s very playful,” she said. “She loves kids – kids of all ages. She has a great personality. She likes people more than dogs. She can catch a Frisbee. She won’t bring it back to you, but she’ll catch it.”
Emmy also enjoys traveling as a passenger.
“She loves going on rides, any kind of rides – car rides, golf carts rides, boat rides,” Hinkson said.
