Callie, a 6-year-old domestic shorthair cat, enjoys playing with toys, said owner Sue Williams of Arnold. The photo is from March.
“She loves to play with her toys, help us make the bed, jump into suitcases when we are packing for trips and go outside on her leash,” she said. “She has a 50-foot leash.”
Callie likes to play, in general.
“She likes all toys,” Williams said. “She plays with a lot of them. If they’re small enough, she throws a ball in the air.”
She rules the house, her owner said.
“She’s the queen of the house,” she said. “We’re here for her enjoyment.”
Williams said she obtained Callie years ago from Open Door Animal Sanctuary in House Springs and she’s glad she did.
“We adopted her from Open Door when she was 6 months old,” she said. “She’s just a joy for us.”
