Marco may look imposing, but he is a good-natured guy, said owner Theresa Brischle of Festus.
Marco, age 9, is pitbull mix just under 70 pounds.
“He’s pretty laid-back,” Brischle said. “He loves people. He’s a big cuddle bug.
“He came to us as a rescue at 18 months and we love the spot around his eye.”
He and Brischle’s other pet, a teacup Chihuahua named Roxy, are good buddies, she said.
“Marco doesn’t like any other dogs outside of Roxy,” she said. “He likes Roxy. He plays with Roxy. He knows not to go too hard.
“It’s so fun to watch them play together.”
