Bella, a 6-year-old West Highland terrier, likes to be in, on or near water, said owner Linda Mercer of High Ridge.
“This picture of Bella is special to me because she enjoyed her day at the lake,” Mercer said. “She loves being with us, and the picture shows how happy she was to be going boating.
“She likes water. We take her out boating ever chance we get. We gets in the water. We go to Lake Taneycomo in the Ozarks.”
Mercer said Bella is affectionate.
“She is so loving,” she said. “We have a neighborhood where everybody walks their dogs and she gets along with the dogs and cats.
“She is the love of my life. My husband will hate that.”
