Leader reporter Abby Stetina of Barnhart said her 2-year-old cat, Felix, is almost always on the move.
“He’s spastic, can not stand still,” she said. “He’s got the ‘zoomies.’”
Stetina said he’s probably a domestic shorthaired cat.
“I got him when he was 4 months,” she said. “He’s not a lap cat.
“He loves to play with a feather on a stick I whip around. He’ll do back flips chasing it.”
Felix has a friendly personality and gets along well with others, Stetina said.
“We had a dog – Toby, an Australian shepherd – who passed away a couple of months ago,” she said. “They got along well. Toby was a lot older. He let Felix jump all over him.”
Stetina said she loves Felix.
“He’s my best friend,” she said. “He’s named after the Felix the cat cartoon.”
