Theresa Brischle of Festus said she misses Lacey and enjoys having Roxy around. She submitted photos of both teacup Chihuahuas for Pet Spot.
Lacey died at age 15 in November 2024.
“I grew up with Chihuahuas,” she said. “I love the smaller dogs, lapdogs. I like them to jump in my lap.”
Brischle said one of her daughters took particular interest in Lacey.
“Lacey was a grumpy old lady,” she said. “But, my daughter Maddi would carry her around like a baby. Lacey let her.”
Roxy, 1-year-old, is an active dog, she said. The photo was taken in 2025.

“She’s very much a playful puppy,” Brischle said. “She likes to chew on everything. She has lots of energy.”
Roxy agitates the family’s other dog, Marco, a pitbull mix much bigger than her.
“She loves to annoy her big brother, Marco,” Brischle said.
