Kathy Wisor of House Springs submitted this photo of her terrier mix Bayley in a patriotic setting.
“She looks like she’s preparing for the nation’s 250th anniversary,” Wisor said.
She said she has owned Bayley for about a year.
“She was a rescue we got from Stray Rescue of St. Louis (in October 2025),” Wisor said. “She was wandering the streets and half her hair was gone.
“It’s back and she’s doing fine.”
Bayley adapted to her new home, Wisor said.
“Now, she’s very spoiled,” she said.
Nevertheless, she is a valued part of the family.
“She’s very loving,” Wisor said. “She loves to be held all the time. She’s a cuddler.”
Wisor is a strong supporter of adopting rescue dogs.
“She’s my favorite rescue dog I’ve had over the years,” she said. “I’m so happy I adopted them.”
