Pet Spot: Annabelle swiped things so people would run after her

Tammy Fallert of Festus submitted a photo of her dog, Annabelle, for Pet Spot.

Tammy Fallert said her Jack Russell terrier, Annabelle, would swipe things in order to get people to chase her.

“She loved to grab something, like a cell phone or a Hot Wheels car, and would run around with it,” Fallert said. “She thought it was fun for you to chase her.”

She said Annabelle won over a neighbor who was not crazy about her in the beginning.

“Our neighbor didn’t want her digging up his yard,” she said. “But, she ended up being a mole killer and he loved her.”

Annabelle died in 2024.

“We had her for about 12 years,” Fallert said. “She was the sweetest. She was the best dog ever.

“She was the best. We miss her. She was a special puppy.”
