The Festus R-6 School District's sparkling new Performing Arts Center had its first concert Tuesday (Feb. 22) with the Freshman, Concert and Symphonic bands each getting in a program that warmed the hearts of the audience while temperatures were dropping rapidly outside. Band members - and band directors - said they were excited to play in the new facility and the Concert Band raised their instruments in salute of their new concert home.
