My Leader Yummy: Bacon Cheeseburger Spaghetti and Strawberry Dump Cake

Summertime is always a busy time of year, when you spend more time outdoors and don’t want to have to spend a lot of time inside fixing meals. This Bacon Cheeseburger Spaghetti is a great time saver and the Strawberry Dump Cake makes a fast and easy dessert the whole family will enjoy!

Bacon Cheeseburger Spaghetti

10 ounces uncooked spaghetti

1 pound lean ground beef

2/3 cup chopped onion

6 slices ready-to-serve fully cooked bacon, chopped

1 1/2 cups ketchup

1 cup chopped dill pickles

1 cup barbecue sauce

1/3 cup prepared mustard

2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onions over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.

Stir in the bacon, ketchup, pickles, barbecue sauce and mustard. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.

Drain spaghetti; stir into the meat mixture.

Sprinkle with cheese. Remove from the heat; cover and let stand until cheese is melted. Serve immediately. Makes 6 servings.

Strawberry Dump Cake

1 can strawberry pie filling or other fruit pie filling of your choice

1 small can (15 1/2 ounces) crushed pineapple

1 box yellow cake mix (dry mix)

2 sticks butter, melted

1 cup flaked coconut

1 cup broken pecans (or walnuts)

In a 13x9x2-inch baking pan or dish, spoon pie filling on bottom.

Spread pineapple over pie filling.

Sprinkle dry cake mix over pineapple.

Pour melted butter evenly over all.

Sprinkle coconut and pecans (or walnuts) over butter.

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
