The Arnold Chamber of Commerce recently awarded a $500 to three local high school students – Nicole Chumley of Seckman High School and Brendan Kreyling and Anthony Rogers, both of Fox High School.
The scholarship program was established in 2003 to provide financial assistance to the area’s most accomplished and dedicated students. The chamber awarded the 2014 scholarships at its annual Scholarship Recipient Luncheon, held June 17.
In an effort to raise funds for next year’s scholarships, the chamber plans to hold a 5K Root Beer Foam Fest on Sunday, September 21, at Arnold City Park, during the annual Arnold Days Festival.
