The Jefferson County Library will close its three branch buildings starting Thursday (Nov. 19) because of the rise in COVID-19 cases across the county, library officials announced today (Nov. 18) on its Facebook page.
However, curbside service will still be available at the library’s three branches: Arnold, 1701 Missouri State Road, Northwest, 5680 Hwy. PP, in High Ridge, and Windsor, 7479 Metropolitan Blvd., in Barnhart. Hours for curbside service are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
All materials are to be returned only through the outside book drops.
In addition to curbside services, the branches will help by phone with online research; requests for books and other materials; and document printing (to be picked up curbside). Patrons also may park their vehicles outside any of the branches to receive free Wi-Fi access for their personal devices.
The library’s Administrative Office, 5678 Hwy. PP, in High Ridge will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
