Six Flags St. Louis has officially been renamed Mid America Adventure. Along with the name change, the park also has an updated logo and brand identity.
The rebrand comes after Kansas City real estate investment company EPR Properties purchased Six Flags St. Louis and five other Six Flags Entertainment Corporation properties in April valued at $342 million.
According to an Aug. 27 company release, the park’s rebranding honors its 55-year history in the region and a “diverse collection of rides and attractions.”
The park originally opened in 1971 under the name Six Flags Over Mid-America.
“We are excited about the changes and new opportunities that are ahead for us,” Danny Snider, park president of Mid America Adventure, said in an Aug. 27 statement. “Earlier this year, we became part of the Enchanted Parks family of theme parks. Now, with the rollout of our new name, we look forward to continuing our history and tradition of providing families with safe, clean fun visits to this park so that they can make lasting memories together.”
“The rebrand to Mid America Adventure is the next step in our ongoing investment in this park and community,” said James Harhi, chief executive officer of Enchanted Parks. “We are committed to providing our guests with quality experiences and will continue to build on our legacy as the Midwest’s gateway to thrills.”
Enchanted Parks is the third largest privately held regional park operator in the U.S., operating eight locations nationwide, according to a company release.
Along with Mid America Adventure, the parks included in EPR’s purchase earlier this year are: Michigan’s Adventure in Muskegon, Mich., Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Galveston, Texas, Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury, N.Y., Six Flags La Ronde in Montreal, Quebec, Valleyfair in Minneapolis, and Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Mo.
The park also announced 2027 season passes are on sale for $75 each. Passes may be used for the remainder of the 2026 operating season, which closes in November.
Season passes for the 2026 season were $55.
