Chase Bank has opened in Arnold.
Its new branch is at 1314 Jeffco Blvd., on property where the Arnold Post Office used to operate.
“We are so proud to open the doors in the vibrant city of Arnold and offer easier access for more of our clients and businesses south of St. Louis,” said Ashley Dennis, market director for JPMorgan Chase. “Opening a branch here means we are investing in the financial health of the residents and showing our commitment to the health and vitality of the entire community.”
The Arnold branch is the bank’s 29th location in the St. Louis area and its first in Jefferson County.
The new branch features innovative technology and a state-of-the-art layout, according to the company.
Self-service transaction areas are available using one interior ATM and one outside the branch, which is accessible by debit card after hours.
The branch also features Chase Private Client offices and free Wi-Fi.
“Our new branch in Arnold is a place for both community banking and community building,” said Cindy Liberman, branch manager. “We strive to combine the personal service of a local bank with the world-class talent of a global financial institution, and we are eager to serve this community.”
The Arnold branch is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
The United States Postal Service closed the Jeffco Boulevard location on Jan. 31.
USPS is leasing space at 2184 Michigan Ave., which was a Here Today store in the Water Tower shopping plaza off Jeffco Boulevard, for its new office. However, it must be renovated before the Post Office opens there.
In the meantime, a temporary trailer has been set up in the parking lot outside the Post Office’s new location. A collection box is in the parking lot, and P.O. boxes line a portion of the sidewalk in front of the new location.
On Oct. 30, a USPS spokeswoman said a start date had not been set for the renovations of the new space for the Arnold Post Office.
No projected completion date had been set either.
