A 34-year-old Imperial man has been arrested for burglary in connection with a theft of video games, tools and folding chairs from a home on Abrams Court in Arnold.
The theft happened about 1:30 p.m. Sept. 21, and the man was caught about 20 minutes later driving in the area, Arnold Police Major Nick McBroom said.
A neighbor reportedly called police about the theft after he saw the Imperial man break into the home, McBroom said.
The neighbor said he confronted the man before he drove away, McBroom added.
Arnold Police arrested the Imperial man for burglary and property damage, and cited him for several traffic violations, including driving with a revoked license, McBroom said.
Arnold Police will seek felony charges through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, McBroom said.
