Telle: Now and before, it’s more than just tires
Mike Allen, director of customer relations for Telle Tire, said the company’s name doesn’t tell its entire story.
“A lot of people think we do just tires because of our name, but in reality, we do a lot more than that,” he said.
“So, essentially, anything that can happen to your vehicle, from an engine diagnosis to an engine replacement or anything in between, we handle it all. We try to be a one-stop facility,” he said.
Allen said because auto repair facilities are considered an essential business, Telle has remained open all year.
“We were very fortunate in the sense that we did not have to close any of our stores,” he said. “One of the things that we did was shortened the hours at all of our locations.”
He said the revised schedule didn’t last long, and Telle is back to its regular hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.
Allen said their stores are always closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Allen said staff are asked to give their all Mondays through Fridays.
“People appreciate a business that is about their employees and about their family and I think that is appreciated by a lot of other customers,” he said.
He said Telle offers loaner vehicles and a valet service to customers.
“We do everything we can to make it as convenient for the customer as possible,” Allen said.
Allen said there are several Telle Tire locations around the St. Louis area. The Eureka store is at 19 W. Fifth St.
