The senior wide receiver is having a prolific season despite the Jaguars having to use three different QBs – Brody Kube, Cohner Baer, JJ Jablonski – because of injuries to Kube and Baer. In a 40-6 win at Hazelwood East on Oct. 8, Weidler caught eight passes for a school record 216 yards and TD passes from Kube of 30 and 77 yards that gave the Jaguars (6-1) a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter. For the season, Weidler has caught 30 passes for 505 yards and six TDs, and he’s rushed for two more. He has committed to play baseball at Southeast Missouri State University.
