The senior libero set the school record for career digs in a four-set win at home against St. Clair on Oct. 1. Bria Garmon, Class of 2020, held the record with 1,375. Hawkins has more than 1,400 with five more matches to play before the Class 4 District 1 tournament. The Tigers have a record of 14-6-1 and finished third at the Lutheran-St. Charles Tournament on Oct. 4. Hawkins won medals in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles and ran on the 4x200 and 4x400 relays when Festus won the Class 4 state track and field championship in May. She’s verbally committed to compete in track at Lindenwood University.
