The junior quarterback became just the third Jaguar to pass for more than 1,000 yards in one season when Seckman crushed visiting Hazelwood West 54-12 on Oct. 17. Kube has passed for 1,046 yards, completed 60 percent of his throws and has 14 TDs against two interceptions this season. Sam Trammel set the school record of 1,610 yards in 2009. Kube is one TD shy of Trammel’s single-season record of 15 with at least two games to play. The Jaguars are 6-2 and at Webster Groves in their final regular-season game before the Class 6 District 1 playoffs.
