Zach Wilde, owner of Wilde Lawn Service, said he believes quality and customer service are important factors when you’re looking for someone to help with your lawn and landscaping needs.
He said Wilde Lawn Service, based in Festus, offers quality lawn and landscape maintenance and installation in southeastern Jefferson County, primarily in Festus, Crystal City, Herculaneum and Pevely.
The business offers lawn maintenance, grass cutting and landscape enhancements such as adding plants and bushes, mulch and decorative rock. The business, he said, does not offer snow removal.
Wilde, who has 12 years of experience in the landscaping and lawn care industry, started the business in 2018. He typically hires two or three other employees each season. Each employee wears a uniform and a hat with the company logo to present a clean and professional appearance.
“We take the utmost care of our customers with the excellence in service that they deserve,” he said.
Wilde said his company’s reputation is such that real estate agents have been contacting him to ask for property and landscape reclamation, or getting the lawn and landscaping looking its best for an upcoming sale.
“I love doing that kind of work,” he said.
He said in those cases, property owners often have let the yard get a little out of hand for any number of reasons, requiring a little bit of a spruce up. He said he’s tackled other properties that have been neglected for months or even years and are overrun with weeds, brush, vines and trees.
