Zach Wilde, owner of Wilde Lawn Service, said his business offers honesty, professionalism and quality service to the community.
“I think we are more of an honest, reliable, professionally carried business, where some of the others are more so… start up businesses,” he said. “I’d say just our professionalism and the quality of product and service that we provide.”
Based in Festus, Wilde Lawn Service offers services such as grass cutting, landscaping and hardscaping.
“(We) mainly are cutting grass, doing landscaping, and then also hardscaping with retaining walls and edging stones and a lot of plant installation and landscape design,” he said. “We’re more so bringing in decorative stone, mulch flowers, shrubs and trees.”
However, he said they do not offer any kind of chemical treatments, pesticides or herbicides on the lawn.
After starting the business in 2018, Wilde said the business has grown exponentially.
“We service a handful of residential and commercial contracts for lawn maintenance, and then we’ve done quite a few nominal landscape installations,” he said.
They have also worked on properties that were referred to by a real estate agent.
Wilde Lawn Care covers parts of Jefferson County primarily in Festus, Crystal City, Herculaneum and Pevely.
Wilde said the business has become well established in the community.
“We have a pretty big social media following that has helped grow our business as well, and made us more trusted,” he said. “We have roughly 22,000 followers on Facebook.”
